One of that incredible 559 bottles batch, with perfectly clear water from river Margadale. A discontinued rarity. Time for a wee dram!
Mild, not heavily peated Islayer, however you ‘ll enjoy the peat in the background along with its aromatic palette.
Less peaty than other Islayers, mellow, with an aromatic flavour and a smooth aftertaste.
A tricky Islayer, for it has not the notes of phenol and smoke of the Island malts. Instead, it comes strong with some Sherry (although it isn’t a sherried dram), brine and peat.
The earlier version of the Bunnahabhain 18 yo, bottled at 43% vol.
