Entry level single malt, with dark golden colour as a result of its maturation in Sherry casks. Immediately after opening the bottle for the first time you may find the nose almost unbearable, but if you let it for 45min in the glass you ‘ll get a balanced and pleasant aromatic palette with dried fruit, violet, citrus, licorice, white pepper and ginger. A dry and snappy peppery mouth with hints of honey, ginger and malt. An aftertaste of medium length with traces of oak, spice, ginger and almond.
A unique single malt, finished for up to three months in brand new American and new Spanish oak casks after being matured for 14 years. The use of untouched Spanish oak casks is a first for the single malt Scotch whisky and quite tricky, for these alive and with flavour new casks need extreme precision handling by the Malt Master to deliver the right amount of extra aromas.
