Originally released around 2000, this great dram is becoming rarer and rarer. Laphroaig 30 yo has garnered many plaudits, including a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2005.

Still-maturing whisky from the standard ex-Bourbon casks of the house is transferred to quarter casks (they are almost 30% bigger than their standard barrels) and left to rest in their warehouse a breath away from the Atlantic shore.
