A light and aromatic nose with presence of fresh cereal and honey. A quite fruity and round palate with tones of Madeira, apple and oak, an aftertaste of medium length with hints of cereal.
Inverleven malt whisky, distilled within the Dumbarton complex between 1938 and 1991 with water from Loch Lomond (not to be confused with the Loch Lomond distillery), has always been rare. In addition, since the stills required to produce it were removed from the Dumbarton distillery in 1991, within the next decades this precious whisky will disappear altogether as stocks are sold off.
