Matured in ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks, with water from St Drosdan’s Well. A deep amber colour, a malty and spicy nose, a mouth sweet, malty and spicy with traces of berry fruit, a long and clean aromatic aftertaste with notes of caramel, malt and honey.
A nose with hints of Oloroso Sherry, raisins, cinnamon, malt notes and wood. A dry mouth with Sherry, honey, spices, nutmeg, dried apricots and raisins, an aftertaste of medium length with traces of winter spices and sweet tannins.
A genuine, strong Islayer from the South Shore and water from Ainambeast and Uigidale, balanced, complex and deep, in the number of the peatiest expressions available.
